Shweta B. Kukreti did M.Sc & PhD in Wood Science & Technology from Forest Research Institute University, Dehradun and has practical experience on bamboo processing technologies such as seasoning, preservation, finishing, and bamboo composite boards. She has worked under BTSG-ICFRE and coordinated bamboo-related activities with ICFRE institutes/centers under National Bamboo Mission. She was a consultant in Bamboo Technical Support Group (BTSG) North Zone- Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education, Dehradun, National Bamboo Mission.
Her Research Interests are Bamboo preservative & fire retardant treatment, Standardisation of secondary processing technologies of bamboo, Quality standards for bamboo products and Bamboo Composite boards.
